On the 1st of July Ardee & District A.C. had success on the podium at the National Juvenile Games in Tullamore. In the blistering heat and qualifying for the first time were the dynamic duo of Tom Maguire and Ashyn Moitheram who took home the bronze in the Boys U11 Turbo Javelin pairs event followed quickly by an amazing performance from Kya Moitheram who also took home the bronze in the U13 Shot Put. Kay headed back to Tullamore on the 15th to try her luck at the U13 Javelin event but just missed out on a place on the podium. A very big well done to these dedicated athletes from everyone at Ardee & District A.C, we are very proud of you.
