June 7th – Leinster Combined Events
Congratulations to Ashling Musiime who came away with the Silver in the U12 Girls Quadrathlon at the Leinster Combined Events in SETU Carlow Sports Campus on June 7th 2026. Ashling was outstanding as she ran, jumped and threw her way to the podium. A fantastic competition for Ashling, well done. Her journey stops here for this year as the U12 combined events are not included in the Nationals.
Ashling’s Results on the day – 2nd place overall – 1006 points.
- 279 points – 4th 60m – 8:99 seconds
- 223 points – 3rd Long Jump 4.02 metres
- 191 points – 4th Shot Put – 6.89 metres
- 313 points – 1st 600m – 1:51:16 finishing time
June 13th & 14th – Leinster Juvenile Championships U12-U19
A fantastic weekend for our juveniles in Tullamore Harriers’ track in Co. Offaly. Up first we had Charlotte O’Shea who delivered a brilliant performance in the U19 Girls Shot Put securing Bronze. She was soon followed to the podium by Aoife Pentony who continued her excellent form with an outstanding Silver in the U18 Girls Javelin and competing in his first ever Leinster competition, Alfie O’Sullivan produced a superb run in the U17 Boys 1500m finishing 6th in a time of 4:59:43. Congratulations to our young athletes, fantastic achievements and well deserved rewards for all thier hard work and dedication.
July 11th – National Juvenile Track & Field Championships 2026
A fantastic experience for Max O’Sullivan and Charlotte O’Shea competing at national level both finishing in 5th place – Yippie, 5th in the Country! Max in the U17 3000m and Charlotte in the U19 Girls’ shot pot. Well done to you both we hope you are proud of yourselves, the club certainly is. Bualadh Bos.
