We’ve had the Beast from the East, Storm Emma and a mixed bag of cold and wet weather for March but that didn’t deter this lot……….

March 17th – Well done to Paul Barnes who ran the Mullingar Half Marathon, Co. Westmeath & got an impressive personal best of 1:29:24.

March 12th – Well done to Kya Mothiram who came 2nd in the U13 Shot Put at the Leinster Indoor Championships with a throw of 9.07m.  Kya went on to compete in the National Indoor Championships on the 18th but missed out on a medal with a final throw of 8.17m.

March 11th – Congratulations to Tracey McCarron on completing her 7th Marathon in Barcelona, Spain in 5hrs 18mins but that didn’t stop her, she headed out again on March 24th finishing in a time of 2hrs 19mins at Longwood Half Marathon, Co. Meath.

March 11th – Bohermeen Half Marathon, Co. Meath.  Well done to Bernie Balfe 1:40:57, Ronan O’Sullivan 1:43:19 and Barry Reid 45:41mins who entered the Bohermeen 10k.

March 11th – At Dromintee 10k, Co. Armagh, well done to Leo Farrell 43:19mins and Domhnall Lennon 53:30mins.  This dynamic due headed out again on March 24th competing in the ‘Friends of St. Olivers 5k in Dundalk, Co. Louth finishing in a time of 20:01mins and 29:30mins respectively.
