Due to the death occurring this morning of Ardee & District AC Life President Jimmy Bradley, the Club has decided they will not enter this year’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade.
We will however, hold a guard of honour at Jimmy’s funeral mass on St. Patrick’s Day at 12:00.
We invite all our members past and present to join us (if possible) in Club colours after mass to say farewell to Jimmy.
Jimmy was one of those wonderful men who re-formed our club in 1971 along with the De La Salle Brothers and through his work on the Parish always took extra special care and maintenance of the parish field, our training grounds, and whilst working beside us in the Monastery School for Boys he was never far away when we needed him. Jimmy has always been a loyal and massive supporter of our club and will be missed early by our club.
