The Railway Bar in Ardee hosted the Ardee and District A.C. annual table quiz. A fun night was enjoyed by all present with a closely contested quiz. The nights proceedings began with a short welcome speech from club chairman Derek Gillespie before quiz master Trudy McGuinness took over the mic.
Prize money for the winners was kindly donated by Brendan and Bridie Faulkner from the railway bar. The 8/9 cats does countdown (Darren Weldon and co) were last years champions and they retained the title this year closely followed in second place by a team of jinnets (you know who you are) Plenty of other winners on the night took home lovely prizes thanks to the raffle.
Prizes were generously donated by local businesses and included everything from a home made Easter cake, a coat,local vouchers and plenty of adult only bottles. Ardee and District A.C. would like to thank all those who donated prizes for the night and especially all who attended making the the quiz night a huge success and great social event.
