Bank Holiday Weekend 1st & 2nd June – The 1st of June was a busy day for our members which began early with Karen, Deidre and John enjoying a long run to and from Annagassan and by 9.30am a few of our members were visiting four parkruns; the O’Sullivan Family were in Oldbridge, Michael was in Dundalk DKIT, Frank and Sean were in Deerpark, Carolanstown and Leo was in Kensington, Maryland, USA. And later in the morning we had members with their families running the Brendan Reilly Memorial 4 Mile in Monasterboice. And finishing the weekend, David, Louise, Danny and Emma headed south enjoying the sights as they ran the Cork City Marathon. Fantastic running Everyone, well done.
Weekend 8th & 9th June – A couple of 1st place finishers this weekend… On Saturday morning Vincent McQuillian was the first man home quickly followed by the O’Sullivan family, Bernie, Ronan and son Alfie in Oldbridge parkrun celebrating 10 years. And later that afternoon, Kate and Leo came first in their age categories in the 10 Miler at the Glenmore Festival. Well done Everyone.
Weekend 15th & 16th June – This weekend was full of long early slow runs, the regular trip to Deerpark parkrun and a trek to Lough Shannagh in the Mourne Mountains with a few of our members completing the Boyne AC 5K in Drogheda and a special mention to Vincent McQuillan on is 1st place winning position in the o50s category and Bernie Balfe 1st for the o40s. Congratulations to you All.
Weekend 22nd & 23rd June – This weekend began with the Long Woman’s 5K on Friday evening followed by three parkruns on Saturday morning, Deerkpark, Mick in Dundalk and Leo and the O’Sullivan family enjoying the celebrations at the 10th Anniversary in Oldbridge. A lovely weekend, well done Everyone.
Weekend 29th & 30th June – This weekend began early with Michael Kinahan having a wonderful time at the Clonee 10K followed by Michael Pentony running a super time at St. Cocos AC’s 5K in Kilcock and our regulars attending our local parkruns in Deerpark and Oldbridge (no pictures from Oldbridge).
