May 4th – Well done to 9 Ardee & District AC Juveniles who headed to Morton Stadium in Dublin to compete in the North Leinster Schools Track & Field Championships representing their respective schools.
In attendance were Conor McMahon, Abbie Sheridan, Emma Gillespie, Isabelle Delaney, Eireann Hoey, Rebecca McCarron, Ava McNally, Samantha McCarron (Ardee Community School) and Aoibheann Carolan (St. Vincents, Dundalk).
Conor McMahon – 1st Long Jump & 2nd Hurdles (Senior)
Aoibheann Carolan – 3rd Shot Putt (Junior)
Eireann Hoey – 2nd Shot Putt (Minor)
Samantha McCarron – 1st Javelin (Minor)
The Club are very proud of these athletes for their extra hard work in preparing for these events and a special ‘Thank You’ to the schools for entering our juveniles in these Championships.
