On November 24th Emma Boyle and Alex McFadden headed to Cushinstown AC’s Open Indoor competition and what a successful day it was for both of them. Alex took home his first indoor medal, coming 3rd in the 60m Sprint. And returning from a serious injury less than a year ago, Emma Boyle made a huge comeback to competition competing in the 60m Sprint, High Jump and Long Jump, what an achievement. It’s been a tough road to recovery but always a determined young lady Emma has pushed through triumphant. Emma also took home a bronze medal, coming 3rd in the High Jump, 4th in the Long Jump and 5th in the 60m Sprint. Wonderful performances from both these young athletes and fantastic preparation for the indoor season in the new year. Well done Emma and Alex.
