Our club held their Annual Awards Afternoon in the Railway Bar on December 8th. Lots of merriment and fun and we wish to congratulate all our athletes on a their hard work and commitment throughout the year.
♥️ A special congratulations all those who won an award and to all our U8s and younger who all received a special medal.
Our Senior Athletes of the Year Awards went to Aoibheann Carolan and Jack McCarron, the Intermediate Athletes of the Year were Kya Mothiram and Jack Dowdall and the Junior Athletes of the Year went to Jessica McCarron and Alex Callan. The Most Improved Athletes of the year went to Gabrielle Ruskyte and Oran Lynch and our Merit Awards went to Molly Keenan, Emma Boyle, Tess Anderson, Jokubas Ruskys, Kristupas Ruskys, Tom Joe McCormack and Max O’Sullivan. At the ceremony we also took the opportunity to present 2nd and 3rd place winners Órlaith Carolan and Rebecca McCarron their Junior Prizes from our Seamie Weldon Memorial 5K.
♥️ A big thank you to the parents and coaches who donated so generously to the free juveniles raffle, a particular favourite part of the occasion for them all and a special thanks to Brendan & Bridie Faulkner of The Railway Bar who look after us every year.
