LOUTH JUVENILE Cross Country Championships 2021 (Day 2/Uneven Ages)

๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿ’™ Day 2 and our Athletes were back again at the Louth Championships, this time competing in the beautiful setting of Bellurgan Park for the Intermediate and Uneven Aged Juvenile events. The morning had a misty start to it but it soon cleared to reveal a warm, sunny day adding to the friendly and relaxed atmosphere of these Championships.

โค๏ธ๐Ÿ’™ By lunchtime our Juveniles had arrived and up first were our U9 Girls, Evie Corcoran, Tess Maguire and Evelyn Thornton. Running 600m they gave their all with Evelyn and Tess finishing in the top ten medal positions. Next we had the U9 Boys, Charlie Butler, Cillian Woods, Rian Lynch, Frank Sands and competing for the first time Usna Conlon and Sean Boyle. The boys gave their all, smiling all the way with Frank finishing in the top ten medal positions.

โค๏ธ๐Ÿ’™ It was the turn of the U11s and a massive jump in distance for these young boys and girls running 1500m. Well done to Lily Maguire, Rhona Keenan, Lexie McKenny, Molly Clinton and club mates TomJoe McCormack, Jokubas Ruskys, Kristupas Ruskys, Alfie Oโ€™Sullivan and newcomer Odhran Conlon. Adding another 1000m to the race our U13s took on the challenge in the 2500m and running their hearts out were, Emma Boyle, Aoife Pentony, Oran Lynch, Max Oโ€™Sullivan and Daniel Cirdei. They day finished for our club with Molly Keenan, Charlotte Oโ€™Shea and Charlie Sands running their personal best in the U15 3500m and Molly and Charlie finishing in the top 10.
