A return to the outdoor Track & Field Season…

The Pre-Louth Championships were held on April 16th at the Lourdes Stadium in Drogheda. This was the first opportunity for our Juveniles to compete on the track and they were fantastic. Well done to all our young athletes and Thank you to Athletics Louth and all the volunteers on the day.

Penny Dardis – 2nd in the U8 60m & 300m and moving up an age 6th in the U9 Long Jump / Abigail Duffy – 4th in the U8 Turbo / Charlie Malone – 3rd in the U9 60m Heats & 6th in the 300m / Freya Durnin – 3rd in the U9 60m & 8th in the 500m / Hannah Duffy – 4th in the U9 60m, 9th in the 500m and moving up an age, 11th in the U10 Turbo Javelin / Gerard Thornton – Moving up an age 11th in the U10 Turbo Javelin / Elise Dardis – 10th in the U10 Turbo Javelin / Lucy Whelan – 10th in the U11 600m, Evie Corcoran 11th in the 600m and Niamh Ireland 14th in the 600m / Frank Sands – 5th in the U11 600m & moving up an age 10th in the U12 Turbo Javelin / Also moving up an age, Sean McCormack 16th in the U12 Turbo Javelin / Rhona Keenan – 10th in the U12 600m, Sophia 15th in the 600m and 8th in the U12 Turbo Javelin, Lexie McKenny 19th in the Turbo Javelin, Rubi Durnin 15th in the Turbo Javelin and Molly Clinton 16th in the Turbo Javelin / Alfie O’Sullivan – 8th in the U12 600m / Lily Maguire – 3rd in the U13 80m and with Maisie Durnin ran well in the 600m / TomJoe McCormack – Moving up an age 6th in the U14 Shot Put / Ruri Mothiram – 1st in the U14 Shot Put / Max O’Sullivan – 3rd in the U14 80m and Danial 6th in the 800m and 2nd in the Shot Put / Enma Boyle – 2nd in the U15 100m Heats, 3rd in the U15 Long Jump and moving up an age 5th in the U16 Shot Put / Aoife Pentony 6th in the 800m and moving up an age 10th in the U16 Shot Put / Charlotte O’Shea – 8th in the U16 Shot Put / Charlie Sands – 2nd in the U17 100m, 1st in the Shot Put and 2nd in the U17 Long Jump.
