It’s official, the summer has begun and many of our members headed for a run… Early on May 1st Bernie Balfe, Ronan O’Sullivan, David Tyhuis and Danny Cirdei headed down the Shannon taking part in the Regeneron Great Limerick Run Full Marathon. Super running from these four, well done and a special shout out to Danny who completed the 26miles in an impressive 3:06:48 
Back in Louth the skys cleared as Emma Wiebenga, Joan McQuillan, Michelle Lynch, Emma McElroy, Brian Duff, Frank Meade, Leo Farrell, Conor Lynch, Vincent McQuillan and Liam Giggins throughly enjoyed the Drogheda 10k with all ten finishing under the hour and while both our ladies team of Emma W, Michelle, Joan & Emma McE and our mens’ team of Liam, Vincent, Conor and Leo just missed out on a podium position, coming 4th overall, Vincent McQuillan bagged himself a 3rd place prize in the o50 category. Well done Everyone, loving your achievements #clubproud
