On the morning of November 21st in the warm autumn sun our Juveniles took up the AAI Cross Country Club Challenge. They’ve been working hard these past three weeks improving their times in preparation for today’s final challenge. To add an incentive for these young athletes we pinned race numbers, awarded club medals and sent them home with treats. And boy did it work a treat! Every One of them ran their best times and while one group ran the other groups cheered them on, they’re a smashing bunch we are so proud of them all.
We’d like to take the opportunity to thank the Parents for their continuous support, our Coaches for their hard work and commitment, Dunnes Centra for contributing towards the treats today and a Very Special Thank You to Ardee St. Mary’s GFC. Every cross country season we are welcomed to use their training facilities without which we would have nowhere to go.
