MEMBERSHIP FEE

Adults €60 / Juveniles €50 / Family of 3 or more €150 – There is a small online transaction charge added.

NEW MEMBERS

Please read the following before proceeding…
CLUB REGISTRAR – If you experience any difficulties with your registration/membership application new or being renewed contact our Club Registrar, Trudi McGuinness by WhatsApp 087 296 7835.
REGISTERING 3 OR MORE – If registering 3 or more athletes in your family for the first time, please contact our Club Registrar (named above) who will send you a direct link to complete your new membership application, if you do not do this you will be overcharged!
ARDEE’S C25K Group – If you completed our C25K programme, finished just before Seamie’s 5K this September and wish to join our club please contact our Club Registrar (named above) who will send you a direct link to complete your new membership application, if you do not do this you will be overcharged!

Once registered our Club Registrar will add you to one of two notification WhatsApp Groups…
  • for senior members (18 or over) – our Adult WhatsApp Group.
  • for junior members (under 18) – our JUVENILE/Parent WhatsApp Group.
Juvenile members may be represented at the AGM and any EGMs by a parent/guardian.

RENEWING YOUR MEMBERSHIP (for existing members)

Every year THE ATHLETIC ASSOCIATION OF IRELAND (AAI) will email you directly the link to renew your membership.
If renewing membership for 3 or more in your family or adding a third person to your membership please contact our Club Registrar (named above) who will send you a special link, if you do not do this you will be overcharged!

EXPERIENCING PROBLEMS

If you experience any of the following problems, please contact our Club Registrar (named above) – do not create a new member application…
  • You cannot find your email from the AAI to renew your membership.
  • The system does not recognise your email address. 
  • Your name does not appear when you login.
  • You wish to add a 3rd or more to your family membership.
  • You are a returning member after a year or more of absence.

TRANSFERS

If you wish to transfer to our club or wish to transfer from us to another club/county, Please contact our Club Registrar (named above) who will talk you through the procedure involved – Please note, there are 2 windows of time throughout the year that the Athletic Association of Ireland allow for transfers to take place…
  • Spring Transfer Window
    • Athletes initiate their transfer online – March 1st to March 20th (they must already be paid registered members of the club they are transferring from).
    • Clubs approve or decline transfers – March 1st to March 23rd.
    • County Boards approve or decline transfers – April 1st to April 30th.
    • Note – Athletes are new members of their new club once their membership has been noted as paid to their new club – from May 1st.
  • Autumn Transfer Window
    • Athletes initiate their transfer online – August 1st to August 20th (they must already be paid registered members of the club they are transferring from).
    • Clubs approve or decline transfers – August 1st to August 23rd.
    • County Boards approve or decline transfers – September 1st to September 30th.
    • Note – Athletes are new members of their new club once their membership has been noted as paid to their new club – from October 1st.

CLUB SINGLETS & CLUB GEAR – Can be ordred directly from the club or via promotional offiers from time to time with DEFY Sports Apparel DEFY.IE – Contact a member of our Committee in Contact us for more information.
RUNNING SPIKES – ‘Running Spikes’ are worn for competitions only (Track & Field and Cross Country).  We do not train in our running spikes or wear them for road races (optional for Long Jump training only).
