A mixed bag of fun for our Seniors this month saw some or our athletes run cross country championships, road races and marathons near and far…
October 7th – A massive congratulations to Barry Reid and Nathan Anderson for their fantastic achievements at the IAAF Gold Label Chicago Marathon in the USA. Barry was amazing, finishing in 3:40:54 and Nathan was outstanding, he did it in under 3 hours, 2:59:10. Another one off the bucket list for both these dedicated athletes.

October 7th – While two of our athletes were running half way across the world 4 of our seniors, Tracey McCarron, Michelle Lynch, Leo Farrell and Liam Smith braved a bitter cold day in Darver at Day 1 of Athletic Louth’s Cross Country Championships. All four ran well and it was a new experience for Michelle running on grass.
October 14th – Michelle Lynch and Yvonne Callan tried their luck at Day 2 of Athletic Louth’s Cross Country Championships in the Dundalk Institute of Technology. More use to road running these two ladies surprised themselves and thoroughly enjoyed this new experience.
