August 22nd – Fantastic results from our veteran athletes this weekend 
running, jumping and throwing…
At the Louth Junior, Senior and Masters’ Championships yesterday, everyone who competed took home a medal or two…* Pauline Breslin – Gold in the Masters’ 100m, 200m and Long Jump.* Peter Carolan – Gold in the Masters’ 100m, 200m, 400m and Long Jump.* Alice Turley – Gold in the Masters’ Javelin* David Tyhuis – Gold in the Masters’ 3000m* Conor McMahon – Gold in the Senior Shot Put & Silver in the 100m, Long Jump and Javelin.* Aoibheann Carolan – Gold in the Junior Long Jump & Silver in the Shot Put.
This morning they were out again flying the Ardee colours at the Drogheda & District Ac 10 Miler and thoroughly enjoying themselves were Danny Cirdei, Kate Moonan, Belinda Rogers, Peter Carolan, David Tyhuis and Ronan O’Sullivan and good on ya lads, 5th place for the mens’ team..
And just for fun Michael Pentony with friends ran 47K in 4.5 hours in a challenge against friends swimming 4.5 hours from Gyles Quay to Annagassan…
