Congratulations to our Juvenile Members representing their schools at the North Leinster Schools Track & Field Championships on May 3rd at Morton Stadium, Dublin. All our athletes competed in many disciplines in the Minor, Junior, Intermediate and Senior categories.
* Abbie Sheridan, Ardee Community School – Gold in the Senior 3K.
* Samantha McCarron, Ardee Community School – Gold in the Junior Javelin.
* Orlaith Carolan, St. Vincent’s Dundalk – Gold in the Junior 4x100m Relay with her school mates.
* Aoibheann Carolan, St. Vincent’s Dundalk – Bronze in the Intermediate Shot Put.
* Kya Mothiram, St. Vincent’s Dundalk – Silver in the Minor Shot Put and Bronze in the Minor Javelin.
* Grace Anderson, Loreto Balbriggan – In a dramatic finish in the 75m Hurdles had silver in her sights until she clipped the last hurdle, fell but bravely carried on to come home in 4th position.
