Medal success for the club at Athletics Louth’s Juvenile Inter-Club Cross Country Relay Championships
November 4th – The sun shone brightly on this warm autumn morning at this amazing new facility in Newtownstalaban, Drogheda hosted by Drogheda & District AC. Up first were the Boys U10 relay team of Alex Callan, Max O’Sullivan, Daniel Cirdei and Oran Lynch running their hearts out to finish in 5th place. Next for the club were the Boys U12 team of Charlie Sands, Arthur Sands, Jack Dowdall and Dylan McCarron who ran an impressive race excitedly moving up to finish in 3rd place. Our Girls U14 team of Orlaith Carolan, Ruth Gillespie, Samantha McCarron and Hallie Sands took to the course next finishing in 5th place and ending the day with a 2nd place team medal were our Girls U16 team of Emma Gillespie, Rebecca McCarron, Eireann Hoey and Orlaith Carolan. Well done to all our athletes.
