January 22nd: 
Well done to all our Athletes who competed at the Glenmore AC Kearney & McBride Cross Country Event in the beautiful setting of Bellurgan Park. 
The U8s began the event and our own Penny Dardis took home a 5th place medal. Next up we had Hannah Duffy, Elise Dardis and Gerard Thornton in the U10 600m with Hannah coming away with a 8th place medal. Our U11s took to the course and joining Evelyn Thornton, Tess Maguire, Evie Corcoran and Sophia McKenny were newcomers, Anna McKeown and Emma McKeown And for the boys we had Frank Sands, Sean McCormack and Charlie Butler with Frank talking home a 5th place medal. Fantastic running from our U11s today all competing up an age in the U12s 1200m. Running up an age again we had Lily Maguire and TomJoe McCormack in the U14 2100m race and our last Juvenile, Molly Keenan took home a 6th place medal in the U16 3000m race. Well done also to our senior members Bernie Balfe and Tony Finegan who both took 1st place in their categories O40 & O50 respectively and thank you again to Glenmore AC for their hospitality and always a super organized event.
