Location – The Boys’ School Field, Drogheda Rd, Ardee (across from the Parish Church).

Time – 6.30pm Sharp.

Age Criteria – The age group is determined by the athlete’s age on the 31st of July in the year of competition.  Children must be at least 6 years old on 31st July to take part in the Under 8 age group. (For Example, U8s – Competitors who turn 8 on or before the 31st of July are overage but are eligible for U10s).

Todlers 60m (non-community games event, hosted by Ardee & District AC).

U8 – 60m   &   80m.

U10 – 100m,   200m,   60m Hurdles (45pm high).

Mixed U10 – 4 x 100m Relay (panal of 6/4 run & 2 subs).

U12 – 100m,   600m,   Ball Throw,   Long Puck,   4 x 100m Relay (panel of 6/4 run & 2 subs).

Mixed U13 – 4 x 100m Relay (panal of 6/4 run & 2 subs).

U14 – 100m,   600m,   80m Hurdles (70cm high),   Long Jump,   Shot Putt (boys 2.72kg/Girls 2kg),   Javelin (Boys 500g/Girls 400g),   Long Puck (Girls only)   &   4 x 100m Relay (panal of 6/4 run & 2 subss).

Mixed U15 – 4 x 100m Relay (panel of 6/4 run & 2 subs).

U16 – 100m,   200m,   1500m,   High Jump,   Triple Jump,   Discus (1kg),   Marathon 7km (panel of  4/team & individual event),   4 x 100m Relay (panal of 6/4 run & 2 subs).

Mixed U16 – 4 x 100m Relay (panal of 6/4 run & 2 subs).

ALL WELCOME – These games are not exclusive to members of Athletic Clubs, ALL CHILDREN in the communities and areas of Ardee, Reaghstown and Collon from under 8 to under 16 are eligible to enter these games.

Reminder to members of Athletic Clubs in this Area – no spikes or club singlets.
