On January 26th many juveniles coming from homes with no power following Storm Eowyn braved the bitter cold conditions in Bush at the Annual Glenmore AC Cross Country event. Races were even aged with many of our juveniles competing up and age and conditions turned bitter cold ahead of Storm Herminia. Wonderful determination from these young athletes, well done everyone.
Running in the U10 600m were Molly Carroll & Abbie Duffy, in the U12 1200m were Aisling Musiime, Hannah Duffy, Emily Carroll, Mick Reilly, Tom McKeown & Daniel Halpenny. In the U14 2100m we had Shauna Mannion, Lucy Whelan, Evie Corcoran, Eireann Reilly, Emer McKeown Frank Sands, Emmitt Dillon & Colm Halpenny and in the U16 3000m we had Anna McKeown & Daniel Cirdei.
