Leinster Juvenile (T&F Outdoor) Championships 2025
May 25th – Congratulations to Emma Boyle who competed in the U17 Pentathlon (Shot Put, 100mH, High Jump, Long Jump, 800m) at the Leinster Combined Events on Sunday, May 25th in Carlow. Capping off a great day of competition running, jumping and throwing her way to the podium and taking home the Bronze Medal. A fantastic achievement and super return to competition following a year’s absence from a serious injury. Well done Emma.
June 1st – Club member Aisling Musimme was selected to represent Louth in the Leinster Inter-County Relay Championships. Aisling along with her county team mates took Silver in the U11 4×100 Relays. Well done Aisling.
June 14th & 15th – A wonderful weekend at the Leinster outdoor Track & Field Championships for all our competing athletes – All coming away with medals. Our youngest, Oscar McArdle Smith won silver in the U15 Javelin and he was soon followed by Aoife Pentony who also took home a silver in the U17 Javelin. Another silver winner was Emma Boyle in the U17 100m Hurdles and double glory for Charlotte O’Shea who came 3rd in the U18 Shot Put and competing in the Discuss for the first time took home a second bronze medal. And finishing the weekend, Alex McFadden, representing our county won Gold in the U17 4x100m Relay. Congratulations to these wonderful young athletes.
