On April 12th the outdoor track and field season began with the Pre-Louth Championships in the Lourdes Stadium in Drogheda. Competing for the club were regulars Abbi Duffy, Aisling Musiime, Hannah Duffy, Lucy Whelan, Alfie O’Sullivan, Daniel Cirdei, Max O’Sullivan, Emma Boyle and Charlotte O’Shea and competing for the first time were Emily Meade, Jake Meade, Fionn Magee and Liam Boyle
A really enjoyable day in the sunshine where our juveniles ran, jumped and threw their best. Some excellent performances, along with lots of learning and laughs. A super day, well done to all our young athletes.

- U13 – Lucy Whelan – 12th U13 Distance.
- U14 – Liam Boyle – 4th U14 Sprint Final / 8th U15 Long Jump (4th amongst the U14s).
- U14 – Alfie O’Sullivan – 5th U14 Distance.
- U16 – Max O’Sullivan – 1st U16 Distance.
- U16 – Daniel Cirdei – 6th U16 Distance / 3rd U17 Long Jump (2nd amongst the U16s).
- U17 – Emma Boyle – 3rd U17 Shot Put / 5th U17 Distance / 7th U17 Long Jump.
- U18 – Charlotte O’Shea – 1st U19 Shot Put.
