A force of 30 Ardee & District AC’s Juveniles headed to the Pre-Louths last Saturday and despite the windy conditions gave their best, competing well and enjoying themselves with some coming away with medals. A big thank you to Athletics Louth and the wonderful team of volunteers, always helpful and encouraging.
We had three newcomers this year to this competition, Grace Noone, Sean McCormack and Frank Sands in the U8s. It was a joy to watch them take to the track as they ran like professionals with confidence and pride in their Ardee colours. On the day Grace took home silver in the 300m and bronze in the Turbo Javelin and Frank came away with gold in the Turbo and bronze in 300m.
