???? May 2019

May has been an exciting month for our club and a very busy time for all our athletes.  It began on the bank holiday where 22 of our seniors happily ran that extra distance in the 2019 controversial Belfast Marathon (see separate report) which was soon followed by the turn of our juveniles who had an amazing and very successful Louth Track & Field Championship in both the relays and individual competition (see separate reports), not to mention the North Leinster and Leinster Schools Championship Finals (see separate reports).  Below are other events our seniors enjoyed in this beautiful month of May…

May 31st When the showers had passed a few of our members with family and friends enjoyed St Kevin’s Community Centre’s 5K Fun Run in Philipstown this evening. Well done to Kevin Carroll 21:27, Brian Duff 22:02, Conor Lynch 22:15, Oran Lynch 24:17, Michelle Lynch 25:11, Pauline Breslin 28:32 and Trudi McGuinness 33:44.
